Empowering women to embrace their beauty in pregnancy & postpartum
Are you pregnant or just had your baby and having one of those days where you just don’t feel like yourself? Yeah, me too, and doesn’t it suck?! I mean, we are making a human! We are incredible human beings. And yet somehow, we have these moments where we are so hard on ourselves by question our strength, our appearance, and our ability to embrace the physical, mental and emotional changes we experience when making a human being, and quite frankly it is disappointing. It is disappointing because we deserve to be ecstatic for bringing life into this world. So I ask you. Would you help another new mumma/ mumma-to-be going through the same thing? If yes, then this blog is for you.
Is there things you wish you had of known?
Is there advice on what you’re experiencing?
Are others experiencing the same thing?
Is there a place to embrace the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to creating life?
Well, we want to give you the platform to find out.
We want to celebrate the everyday woman, just like you and me, in a place that is supported by people like us embracing our own experiences. That is why we are launching this “Monday Mumma’s” campaign to be the change we need in today’s society. And we need you.
Every Monday we will post a photo of a beautiful Mumma-to-be / Mumma with her bump /bubba that has been sent to us on our social channels. Each post will have a story or an experience to share with others going through the same thing (or it can simply be an image).
For each person we share will receive a 15% discount to our Something For Mumma store. You don’t have to be pregnant or in your postpartum stage to share with us. You can share this with your friends and or family if they are pregnant or just had a baby, or even share older images and stories of when you were pregnant. Or hey, no objection here, share with us life as a mother!
We want each and every one of you to not only feel empowered, feel comfortable, and feel beautiful but most importantly, to be the inspiration for others to feel the same. After all, we’re all in this together and we want to be in these moments that matter, because they do, they matter. And YOU matter.
So let’s do this ladies! Share with us your photos and or experiences via our @Somethingformumma page on facebook or Instagram, alternatively you can email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
